Each year the family behind Samford Hotel and Eatons Hill Hotel, the Comiskey Group, organise Samford Long Lunch in support of the Samford Stags.

Hosted at the local rugby field Alan Cash Park, the event raises money through raffles and auction items, kindly donated by local businesses, sporting legends and the Comiskey Group.

Samford Stags is the much-loved heartbeat of our community, a club led by supportive mentors who offer hands-on guidance for players of all ages and skill levels. From Stag Tots starting at just 3 years old to senior teams of 19+, Samford Stags engages whole families through the love of sport.

Built on strength, unity and resilience, Samford Stags is about more than just friendship. The club not only unites people but creates life-long skills; building coordination, confidence and discipline, ensuring that every member grows both on and off the field. Samford Stags promote physical exercise, teamwork and respect; creating well-rounded individuals that are both physically and mentally fit.
